Last week my dentist hygienist gave me an A+++, and reinforced a favorite idiom: “Only floss the ones you want to keep.” Even though my teeth are translucent and shatter when I bite my fingernails, they are clean, and my gums aren’t too shabby either. Just pink and shiny. My dentist joined in her coworker’s awe. We’re all very happy.
